Utility Billing

The Finance Department is responsible for all water and sewer billing.

Payments are accepted at our offices:
  • In person, during normal business hours (cash, check & credit cards accepted, service fees apply to credit card transactions)
  • By mail
  • At the 24-hours payment drop box in front of Village Hall
  • Online Bill Pay
The Village also offers an Automated Bill Payment Program to conveniently pay utility bills directly from your bank account. You can download the Auto Pay Form and return it, in person or by mail, to our offices.

Residents using the online payment services offered by their banks to pay their utility bills need to enter their account numbers is a specific format. Please use the customer number (two to six digits), followed by a dash, followed by the seven digit account number (i.e. 123456-1234567). This format is necessary for the proper posting of payments.

Additionally, utility customers can choose to have their utility statements sent to them via email in place of a paper copy. Fill out the Utility Bill Email Request Form to request statements via email.

Residents who will be away from Roselle for extended periods of time should download and complete the Extended Leave Form to expedite changes to utility accounts.

Water and Sewer bills are due on the sixth day of every month. Delinquent account balances are subject to a 1.5% penalty and $5 per month administrative fee.

We have more information available about establishing or discontinuing utility services. Those moving out of Roselle should call (630) 980-2000 to schedule a final meter reading.
