The garbage and recycling program in Roselle consists of curbside
garbage, recycling and yardwaste collection. The Village has contracted
with Republic Services (formally Allied Waste/BFI) to provide
residential and commercial refuse, recycling and yard waste collection
service.
Roselle residents pay for unlimited weekly refuse and recycling services on a quarterly basis.
The Village of Roselle first established a recycling program for its
residents in 1990, in an effort to conserve landfill space and natural
resources. Since that time, the recycling program and the types of
materials that are accepted have expanded tremendously. Sorting
recyclable materials is no longer required, but be sure to consult the
list of what materials are considered recyclable.
Yard waste collection is a sticker/pay-per-bag system. Yard waste
stickers are available seasonally at several area grocery and hardware
store, as well as at Village Hall.
Resident that have any comment or inquires about the Village Refuse
and Recycling Program, please contact the Village
