Say good-bye to crime with the
Roselle Police and Fire Departments, in conjunction
with the Village of Roselle, the Roselle Park District, Harris Bank Roselle,
How Sweet It Is Ice-Cream and Candies, Inc. and the Roselle Lions Club during National Night
Out Against Crime on August 3 at Turner Park, 81 E. Devon Avenue.
The event will run from 5:30-10:30 p.m. and includes:
- free
hot dogs
- live music
- crime and fire prevention booths
- police, fire
and public works vehicles on display
- face painting
- climbing wall
- Roselle Charity Duck Race
- movie on the big screen - Planet 51, 8:30 pm (bring your blankets - free popcorn!)
- and other fun games and activities.
National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
