Zoning Ordinance
The Village of Roselle's Zoning Ordinance (Appendix A) exists primarily to protect and promote the health, safety and welfare of our residents. It also serves to preserve and strengthen property values within the Village as well as to encourage appropriate land uses that complement and respect the surrounding neighborhood.

Among many other means, the Zoning Ordinance accomplishes these goals by defining, restricting, and setting standards for the type, size, intensity, and character of uses and structures within the Village to ensure sound development and thoughtful planning.

Subdivision Regulations
The Village's Subdivision Regulations (Appendix B) exist to guide the growth and development of the Village in order to provide adequate and efficient transportation, public utilities, schools, parks, and other facilities as owners of property subdivide and intensity increases.

These regulations also help provide proper traffic circulation throughout the Village, ensure that public facilities are available and able to serve all residents, and preserve the natural beauty and open space of the Village through efficient and sensible design.
