When an incident occurs that is larger or more complex, assistance from surrounding emergency agencies is necessary. Through functional cooperation, the West Suburban Fire Rescue Alliance (WSFRA) Training, Standard Operating Guidelines, and Emergency Responses have provided improved service delivered to our residents:

Through the WSFRA; the said departments intent is to:

• Increase Safety for all Emergency Response Personnel;
• Unilaterally Improve Emergency Services to the Residents;
• Identify Standard Communications and Dispatch Procedures;
• Share Common Resources and services to reduce costs.
