About Roselle

Rich History and Tradition

Incorporated in 1922, Roselle was named for Rosell Hough, an early settler and influential businessman who was instrumental in bringing the first rail service through the town that bears his name. Roselle is host to many long-running, family centered traditions, including:

  • the annual Rose Festival, Parade, and Rose Queen Pageant (for over 50 years)
  • an outstanding History Museum and Library Archives
  • the annual Taste of Roselle featuring a food festival, carnival, craft fair, family activities, bingo, and music
  • the annual Main Street Cocoa Crawl featuring sweet treats and seasonal entertainment
