Winners will be chosen by audience applause, so style, flair, and humor count! This competition isn’t necessarily about how much you eat or even how fast you eat it. Contestants have to keep their hands behind their backs and eat the pie without utensils. It will be an old-fashioned fun and quick event. Founders Day Scarecrow ContestThe Roselle Park District Garden Club invites you to create a scarecrow at home to submit into the Founders Day Festival to be voted on by all fest attendees. Prizes will be awarded for the top three winners. This contest is FREE to enter! Cost of supplies is your own. Registration deadline is September 28. Scarecrows must be set up between 12:00-1:00p.m. on Saturday, October 7 at Clauss Recreation Center and must be removed at the end of Founders Day Festival. |
