Refuse & Recycling Guide in Roselle (PDF)
The Village of Roselle first established a recycling program for its residents in 1990, in an effort to conserve landfill space and natural resources. Since that time, the recycling program and the types of materials that are accepted have expanded tremendously. Sorting recyclable materials is no longer required, but be sure to consult the list of what materials are considered recyclable.
Yard waste collection occurs April through November and is administered through either a sticker/pay-per-bag system, or a 95-gallon cart option with an annual fee. Yard waste stickers are available seasonally at several area grocery and hardware stores, as well as at Village Hall. Residents receive free yard waste pickup two times per year - during the first full week in April and the last week in November - for up to seven (7) bundles, bags or approved containers per each pickup. See the Yard Waste Pickup Program page for details.
Flood Brothers will take one bulk item per week (furniture, appliances, small quantities of building materials, etc.) at no additional charge. Call (630) 261-0400 to schedule a pickup for more than one bulk item, or with questions.
