All vehicles owned or stored within the Village of Roselle must display a valid village vehicle sticker. The sticker shall be fastened in a prominent and visible place on the lower right side of the front windshield of the vehicle. Vehicle licenses are sold at Village Hall. The FOIA form can be obtained at the Police Department Records Division by clicking on the FOIA Form link below. The completed form can be dropped off, mailed or faxed to the Police Department at (630) 980-9767. The Village of Roselle will reply to your request within five (5) business days. There is no fee for the first 50 pages of a police report (15¢ per additional page, starting with page 51) and $5.00 for basic Traffic Crash Reports. Specialized reports and/or photographs (if releasable) have increased charges.
Requestors will be called when the report is ready for pick up and will be advised of the total amount of fees due. Copies of all reports requested, are picked up at the Police Department. FOIA Form
Parking or Compliance Citations (P or C) may be paid online by following the Online Payments link below. You may also pay citation fines at the Finance Department on the first floor of the Roselle Village Hall, 31 S. Prospect St. If Village Hall is closed, tickets may be dropped in the green payment box located in the circular drive in front of Village Hall. Moving violations in DuPage County must be paid at the DuPage County Circuit Clerk’s office at 505 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, Illinois. Information on traffic fines can be obtained at (630) 407-8600. Moving violations occurring in Cook County can be paid at the Cook County Circuit Clerk's Office at 2121 E. Euclid, Rolling Meadows.
The Village of Roselle has an Office of Adjudication with an administrative hearing system, wherein cases such as parking tickets, compliance tickets, zoning violations, ordinance violations, administrative tow penalties, and Red Light Camera violations are heard. Residents and their guests can register for overnight parking online using a computer, smart phone, iPad or tablet device. Residents and visitors who do not have access to the internet using one of those devices may call (630) 980-2025 to register their vehicles. Overnight Parking Regulations: • Requests must be received prior to 2:00 am cutoff. • Overnight parking is limited to three (3) requests within a thirty (30) day period. • Overnight parking will not be granted when there is two inches or more of snow fall.
